Changes in the MBS Graduate Business Programs!
Dr. Nory Jones

by Krystle Reilly

Dr. Jones has a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems with a focus in Knowledge Management from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She joined the faculty of the Maine Business School in September, 2001, teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in Management Information Systems. In June 2007, she became Interim Director of the Office of Graduate Business Programs.

Dr. Jones is working to improve the operational efficiencies of the graduate business school programs . She hopes to increase enrollments to 100 full-time MBA’s and 30 full-time MSA’s. Her goal is to reach these numbers to create a critical mass so that more electives and tracks can be offered. She also wants to increase the international student population as well as build more relationships with partner schools around the globe for exchange programs for graduate students. Finally, Dr. Jones wants to develop strong relationships with our alumni and the business community.  Dr. Jones says that she hopes the above changes create “A great MBA/MSA program that is positioned as a small cohesive community that prepares students to become leaders in businesses through exceptional critical thinking, problem solving, and appreciation for ethics and social responsibility”.
