Alumni Homecoming Tailgating
Our Second Alumni Homecoming Tailgating Party on October 17, 2009
The Graduate Business Association at the University of Maine is holding our annual Alumni Homecoming Tailgating Party on Saturday, October 17, 2009. We would like to invite you to join current graduate business students, faculty, staff and alumni to celebrate the UMaine spirit at Homecoming, and reconnect with the Maine Business School.
We will have a traditional tailgating barbecue, along with a few healthy options. We will also have alcoholic beverages available by donation. Family and friends are welcome, just be sure to purchase the appropriate number of tickets, as space at the game is limited.
Our day will begin at 9:00 am in the Donald P. Corbett Business Building atrium for a welcome and event kickoff. At 9:30 am, we will head over to the tailgate lot to have a cookout (if you prefer to meet us at the tailgating lot, look for our MBS banner). At the tailgate lot we will also be having a raffle and selling Maine Business School apparel (cash or check only). Also, the annual Craft Fair will be close by in the Field House those who are interested.

Apparel
New Merchandise!
We have also been working to broaden our apparel line, which currently includes Maine Business School-branded polos and t-shirts. We are currently designing new apparel such as sweatshirts, long-sleeved shirts and new t-shirts, and plan to launch the new line in October. Connect with Us!
To further develop our online footprint and to improve our networking capabilities, the Graduate Business Association has developed a group on www.linkedin.com. The group, which can be found at the address below, is for all Current Students and Alumni as well as our faculty and staff. This group will allow members to network with each other on a professional networking site, post jobs, and deliver news about events and projects for the GBA.
We would encourage anyone with a profile to join the group, and any members who do not currently have a profile on the website to sign up!
