Joining the GBA
Residency Week
When you begin your MBA or MSA program at the Maine Business School, the GBA officers will be around during Residency Week to welcome you and offer you the chance to sign up for a committee.
Contact the Officers
If you decide you'd like to joing the GBA after Residency Week, contact one of the current officers on FirstClass and let them know your interests. The GBA is always looking for dedicated members to join committees, and who can take on officer positions as they become available.
Ad-Hoc Committees
As a student, you may find issues that are important to you aren't being addressed by the GBA. This is your chance to voice them to your colleagues and the faculty with the support of the GBA behind you. Contact the GBA president with your ideas and form an ad-hoc committee that can help you acheive your goals. An example of an ad-hoc committee is the Information Science committee, which was formed with the sole purpose of bringing back the Information Science track.
